I don't have a lot to say about Albania and as you can see I don't have any pictures for Albania either. When I went to Albania I spent an hour or so Rally driving across what I later learned were most likely minefields in a hire car. Not being able to find the Albanian border post I turned back to Greece to surprise the Greek border patrol guards who were probing each other behind the guard box.

Finally I went to another border crossing where the Albanians were very amusing slapping their own and each others chests like toothless gorillas. When I decided to try and socialise with them I did a fair amount of chest slapping of their chests and got several slaps back, with broad toothless grins.

The Albanian immigration point had the only instance of disabling access as opposed to disabled access. It involved having to jump several feet in the air to get ones feet on to a one inch wide ledge whilst holding on to the window pane. Then one handed one had to give one's passport and fill out forms.

I have yet to have clarified why it was that there were more trucks than people where I was, yet fewer teeth than people. The only resolution to this conundrum I can think of is some bizarre teeth for trucks syndicate operating in the Balkans.

Now one can see Albanians more easily by visiting immigration centres in Brent and Dover, it saves the hassles of trying to find the country across minefields and potential injury at the immigration posts.
