Cragside was the home of the Armstrong family. It is in a beautiful setting and the building had all sorts of innovations, most famously it generated its own electricity and was the first domestic home in the world to have electric lighting.

It is a massive estate and there are beautiful forests and gardens. The house gets increasingly impressive as one goes up the floors.
