We stayed in Silverdale, using it as a base from which to visit the nearby Lake District.

When we arrived, we had the most fabulous sunset across Morecambe Bay. The colours were fantastic and the reflections on the rivulets left between the sand bars were beautiful.

When a fisherman appeared, it gave a bit more perspective as well as a different context.

In the morning the views were almost as lovely.
