Raphael Kessler

We visited the town of Newark on Trent which has a pleasant castle set in gardens. Although the castle itself was destroyed during the civil war, there is plenty of it left to give a sense of its former grandeur. The gardens and park alongside are nice and made for a good spot to amble around.
