Salisbury

Salisbury is a lovely town with a quaint old centre. We visited the impressive cathedral which had an interesting exhibition about Magna Carta at the time.

We were particularly pleased to discover what is apparently the country's oldest building being used as a cinema, where we watched Mike Leigh's Mr. Turner with an excellent performance from Timothy Spall and a wonderful (Oscar nominated) score by Gary Yershon.

As we left town, there was a beautiful sunset.
