Raphael Kessler

Sissinghurst Castle was the residence of Vita Sackville West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson. They were known for their hedonistic, bohemian lifestyles and their affairs, most famously of Vita with Virginia Woolf.

The castle and gardens are lovely, with a particularly extensive vegetable garden.
